Optimized Load-Scheduling Algorithm for CubeSat's Electric Power System Management Considering Communication Link

CubeSats have been gaining significant interest as a cost-effective solution that can be built with low power requirements for different mission types. The most critical subsystem in is the Electrical Power Subsystem (EPS), which provides required to operate remaining subsystems. This paper presents an approach optimizing load management and scheduling CubeSat applications ensure optimal coordination between demand, generation, energy storage while maintaining communication's quality of service requirements, namely data rate Bit-Error-Rate (BER). loads are divided into four types based on their priority. time-modulated, magnitude-modulated, time-and-magnitude-modulated, fixed. An optimization problem formulated BER cost function, constraints. Multiple cases investigated requirements. obtained shows proposed algorithm meets communication system's conserving resources.
